TO: Mary Ann, David, Billy, Kelly, Brian and Brittany. In life, as is said, our live's include many aquaintances and very few real true friends. William J. Hill was our really true friend. In my life, Bill gave me too many laughs to count, as well as so many experiences to count. I have always considered Bill like a Blood Brother. We sure are going to miss him. We only take comfort in knowing that his many years of overcoming his physical problems and pain has ended for him and that he is in a better place.Marie and I are so very thankful to have got to see and talk to him last week. To each of you we send our love.

I worked at Thruway Fastneres about 11 years ago. I remember Bill's great sense of humor and that he sincerely cared about the people he worked with.(even though he tried to be tough about it) When the SU basketball team made the final four he encouraged a group of us to head downtown to the pep-rally. I haven't known a boss yet that was that excited about the home team's success and willing to let his 'team' celebrate with the city. thanks.

Bill, we will never forget the great times we had together. The ones that will "stay" in our minds forever are Rodack's( "soup on the menu?"); Jim's Fish Fry;Rome tournament, when as a scorekeeper for our basketball game, you get a technical foul and almost thrown out of the gym; and of course our Albany trip for the basketball tournament, when the boys were in high school--Darlene and I will miss you dearly--you are now in a better place and there will be no more pain. Maryanne will be in good hands with your loving family as you very well know. Thanks for the wonderful memories , which we will cherish forever. Love, Joe & Darlene
