Aunt Kathryn was a wonderful person. She and Uncle Ralph came all the way from Syracuse to Brooklyn to celebrate our weedding and the christening of our daughter, Alexandra. She will be greatly missed. She also frequently sent us little notes and cards for birthdays and holidays. Each holiday, we'll have warm remembrances of Aunt Kathryn.

Aunt Kathryn was always a thoughtful, caring, and concerned person. She always went out of her way to keep in touch, and come to family events no matter how far away. She was willing stay connected to her extended family no matter how distant we were. Aunt Kathyrn and Uncle Ralph are truly some of the kindest people in the world. Aunt Kathryn's life was an enbodiment of Christianity. All of her notes, Christmas and birthday cards were always appreciated and will be sorely missed. Aunt Kathryne always went the extra mile. We will miss you greatly. We are sure we will meet you again! God Bless You on your journey!

Dear Kay,You always welcomed us to your home. Our visits, while few, always left us feeling special. We know you will be missed dearly by your family and your long time companion, Ralph. What a wonderful couple you were. You gave much to your family and community and we feel very honored to have shared some of our life with you. We know God has welcomed you in his arms and all the angels in heaven are waiting for one of your wonderful apple pies. You, Ralph and all your family will be in our prayers. Love, Pat & Judy

How honored I am to be able to say that I grew up as a neighbor to this saint. She lived the words of a biblical proverb (Proverbs 31:10-31), which I quote here in part:"When one finds a worthy wife, her value is far beyond pearls. Her husband, entrusting his heart to her, has an unfailing prize... She is clothed with strength and dignity... She opens her mouth in wisdom, and on her tongue is kindly counsel. She watches the conduct of her household, and she eats not her food in idleness. Her children rise up and praise her; her husband, too, extols her: 'Many are the women of proven worth, but you have excelled them all'... the woman who fears the Lord is to be praised... let her works praise her at the city gates." (NAB)Love to all,Bob(By God's grace, we can all see her again. Ephesians 2:4-10)

I did not realize how much Mom was a mother to everyone she met. Once she got to know you, you were on her correspondance list for anniversaries, birthdays, confirmations, you name it, Mom had a card for you and your family. She loved everyone and in return, everyone loved her. I will miss her dearly. I love you Mom. Your son, Pat

Personal: Losing Aunt Kathryn will leave a permanent hole in my heart... she was like my second mother. I will truly miss her.Other: I heard that everyone loved her, but I had no idea how many people "everyone" was until she passed over. It is amazing how many people she touched.

This angel of a lady, Kathryn, has had an great impact in this world. A pure heart, that she shared with anyone that came in contact with her, in a way that you felt the "secureness of God" ; and His peace, as she truly cared about people. To me, she's comparable with the likes of Mother Theresa. "A Mother to all". Whenever I do laundry "early" in the morning, I think of Kathryn, as I know that is what she always used to do. A truly hard working woman, that I can truly say I've been honored, and proud to have been blessed to spend a big part of my life with. "Thank you", Kathryn. His peace be with you~Always, Love, Joyce Mondore-Stanton

My entire family is deeply saddened by the passing of this wonderful woman. I have known her all of my life and in my 50 odd years,I cannot think of a woman as fulled with life, as caring, and as "classy" as our dear Kay Hodson. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loving family.
