Greg,It has taken me some time to put down my thoughts that is because as you know this is a great loss and the words would not come easily. I have known Linda for many years and consider myself as like a sister to her. While we are all saddened by her loss, I feel personally blessed, stronger and brighter for having known her. When I get sad because she is gone I think of the many times that we had good times and I'm reminded of what a unique way Linda had of looking at things, and I'm comforted and know I must carry on. There is not a day that goes by that she is not in my thoughts because Linda was more than a friend she was one of the strong voices in my head. Thank you for having the loving celebration of her life and this web site for providing another form of closure. To the family: My deepest sympathy for your loss, To Gregory, Timmy, and Lexie: My love to you always, and know you have an Aunt Alicia who lives in NYC and loves company, To Greg: We love you and know this is an extremely difficult time but we also have ultimate faith for and in you. Call me if you need anything. You are all always in our thoughts and prayers.Love Alicia,AKA: Grandma or The Black from "The Red and The Black..."

Greg,My heart is breaking with you and for you. I last talked with Linda last spring. She knew she had a tough fight but was determined to do all she could to beat it. She always made me feel at ease--even in my own home. I cannot image the grief you are suffering right now, but please know that God will give you comfort in all the good , long memories you have of your Linda.Bless you , Marietta

I am deeply saddened to hear of your passing.I'll always cherish the memories of our childhood days together;your smiles and your laughter, the many sleepovers at your parent's house, the bike rides at the lake, playing with Daisy in the backyard, and particularly, the city bus trips downtown just to visit your mom at the cosmetic department were she worked.I'll always remember how your mother's face would just light up with smiles each time you visited her.You were and always will be your mother's "angel". Six years ago,you told me about the melanoma. It scared me.But I was not at all surprised to see your spirits unchanged, still with smiles and laughter and filled with so much hope. You were very concerned about Greg and your children.Rest in peace knowing that God will watch over them and you will too with that same loving smile your mother always gave you.All who loved you will embrace your spirit forever. My prayers and thoughts are with Greg, your children, your mom and dad,and your friends.Love,Your friend,Sandy Webster Toscano

It was truly a pleasure to work with her in a parent/teacher relationship.May God bring peace to the whole family knowing her pain and suffering is now over.

Greg my deepest sympathy goes to your lovable family. Linda and you raised a great and talented family with something to be proud of. Even though I never personally ran into Linda and you, I did know your sons; so I know you must be great people and Linda must've touched many people including myself and will be missed by everyone she came in contact with in some way. May God bless Linda and her family with all her smiles you gave to everyone in passing!

I only knew you for a short time, but I was inspired by the love and caring you had for your children and husband. A great "Mom" is how I will remember you. Always taking the kids here and there, providing them with many opportunities and always love, lots of love. You provided your children with a wonderful basis that will carry them throughout their lives. You touched many lives with your thoughtfulness and kindness. You have left a bright light in everyone's heart that knew you and loved you.We are sad that you will no longer be on this earth, but we know that you will be in Heaven watching over all of us.We loved you very much.Peg and Tom Gilmour
