Papa,
Just thought I would let you know that We all really miss you. I hope you are looking down on us all. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and change the way this all happened. Now that I am older I understand what happened. I can now write things that I mean. I am missing you like crazy. i think about you all of the time. I know for a fact that my mom (Amy) Misses you like crazy. We all do. I love you very much and I can write more than "I miss you Papa".
Love Always,
Your Fav Grandaughter

Hi Bobby, I just got back on line. I miss you all the time. There is a commerical on tv that has a guy in the background that looks just like you, when you were younger. I love that! Thanks, I think you helped it to happen that way, so we don't forget. We won't. I promise....Love you, Janet

Bobby, I just want you to know how often I think about you. And especially sad because of Linda. She has had a terrible week because its was your anniversary this week, and I don't know what to say to her. I wanted so much to call her on your anniversary, but what do I say? And I'm afraid that she will be upset with me for not calling. Oh Bobby, we miss you so much!!!

Hi Bobby, Just a note to say I I'm thinking of you and miss you. Linda and Robert were down to see us this week. We really enjoyed them being here. She is doing as well as she can. She misses you so so very much. But your coming to her thru Jane gave her so much comfort. It gives us all a lot of comfort too, to know that you are not hurting any more. Even though we cannot see you, you are with us every day. When I see woodpeckers I think of you. Only you and Linda know what I mean when I say that. I smile every time I see one, and I have them at my bird feeder every day. And now I will see one by my door when I eneter the house. Linda bought me a woodpecker door knocker.I love it! Thats only one of the little things that remind me of you. I miss you terribley. Love you Bobby...from your sister, Janet

They broke the mold when they made you Bob. A man that would get off work and drive his crazy wife for 18 hours to meet another crazy woman is really special!! And not just once.....It was so nice to have you in our lives. I think of you Bob and I hear your laugh and I see your smile. Even when we fixed Amy's car together. Or I look at your funny pictures from Westville. I am so glad I got to spend that time with you in your computer room showing me all your pictures this past summer. You sure were proud of them. I think you were meant to be a photographer, and I bet you have your camera going now! I'll never forget you, you'll always be in my heart. If Linda or the kids ever need me they know they can call me.

I was just told today that Robert Ortman III passed away on thursday the 12th. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and freinds. Even though I didnt know him personally I've known Jackie Ortman for several years and we shared one thing in common the last few months a brother who has and had cancer. It's not an easy thing to go thru losing a loved one but what matters is the people that are there for you afterwards.....Prayers go out to his family for their loss..

Jim & I have known Bob & Linda for many years. Our sons grew up together. Bob was one of the best dad's we had a pleasure of meeting. He was always involved in his kids lives, and when we'd stop by to ask an automotive question, Bob and Robert were usually tinkering in the garage, working on something together. To Linda, the love you had for Bob was always evident, as was his for you. To Amy, and Crystal, you were his daughters. Daughters are very special to their dad, and we know that he loved you both very much. To Robert, you were very lucky to have such a wonderful loving father. We really enjoyed seeing the two of you working together. We didn't see much of that with alot of other kids your age, and as parents ourselves, it meant alot. Bob was a devoted family man, and a wonderful provider for his family, and he will dearly be missed, but we'd like you to remember that he was very proud of you all, and will watch over you! His life will live on in his kids, and grandkids! God Bless You, Bob!

Bobby, I just want you to know how much I loved you and I thank God for making you one of my brothers. You brought us so much joy and laughter for the last 54 years.Thinking of you will always bring a smile to my face. Bobby, there is so much I want to say but can't get the words to come out right on paper. But you know what is in my heart...it all boils down to that I love you and my heart is breaking in two right now. I will say ""Good morning"" to you every day. And Sonny said to tell you that he had so much fun over the last 31 years teasing you over the pictures he never really had!!...Bye Bobby, I love you

Bob, This is the first time I have done this online and I am not one of your family relatives - I guess that does not really matter. I am part of your "" work family "" at Drainage & Sanitation - forget that new name Water Environment Protection. Who thought that one up anyhow? On Thurday and Friday there were many tears of love shed and some stories told by Big Al and Steve Moltion and Sandy and Mike Halczyn -these tales were filled with laughter and joy from the "" gift of your life at work"". Happiness, genuineness, caring, and, of course, eating way too much for lunch. Meeting some of your children and grandchildren has shown me that you were a very blest and loved papa. When you see my mom in heaven - she died in February 9 years ago - have a beer and a cigarette with her - tell her I love and miss her so much that it hurts daily but I know that she is in a place that holds no more pain and for that I am grateful. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me and I am glad to have helped you with your retirement paperwork. You will be missed by all who have known you. Sincerely Diana
