Rick was someone I could count on which is a rarity in these selfish days. After 15 years of knowing Rick I have no doubt that I will keep him in my thoughts daily. I will keep Rick's family in my prayers. Sweet

I commend you, my dear brother to almighty God, and entrust you to your Creator. May you return to Him who formed you from the dust of the earth. May holy Mary, the angels, and all the saints come to meet you as you go forth from this life. May Christ who was crucified for you bring you freedom and peace. May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise. May Christ, the true Shepherd, acknowledge you as one of his flock. May he forgive all your sins, and set you among those he has chosen. May you see your Redeemer face to face, and enjoy the vision of God forever. - Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, parce nobis, Domine.- Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, exaudi nos, Domine.- Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis. Amen

There are only two kinds of people in this world in which we live- ""Giver's and Taker's"". Rick Dimmler was without a doubt a Giver of the highest degree. Rick taught me a lot about myself, others and the world. His perspective on life was an example that everyone should buy into. Life to Rick was carefree, real, fun, and an adventure. I still sit here today in disbelief that I am writting sometihng about my friend in the past tense. I miss you old buddy and I will never forget the lessons that you taught me. Thank you for being there for me when I needed you. Thank you for introducing me to and accepting me into your wonderful family. Until we meet at that Great Bar in the Sky. And remember in Heaven Beer is Free!

Of all deaths I've had to deal with in my life , yours has been the hardest for me to deal with . You were a very great friend for many years & will surely be missed more than words can say . My heart goes out to your entire family & especially your children & fiance Kim , whom I begged for you to ask out to my wedding . It saddens me to know that those two children won't get to know just how great a man & father you would have been to them . My memory is forever etched with all the great times we've shared & I will always remain thankful that I had the pleasure of knowing you & having had your unconditional friendship albeight for the short time it lasted . Rest in Peace Ricky and God Bless all of the souls you touched in such a short period .

Rick once said that I would be famous one day as an artist. Well, that day has yet to come, but I will do my best to live up to my friend's high expectations of me. I will miss Rick's physical presence, but I'm confident his soul survives. Our loss is Heaven's gain. Godspeed, Rick.

I met Rick back in the mid 80s in high school. Although I was an Auburn gal, I chose to hang out and party in Skaneateles... Everyone I met during those few years was very warm and welcoming to me, which meant alot then and now. I went to many parties obviously in Dimmler's backyard. I have very fond memories of Rick's openess and zest for life. I am very saddened by his passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends, fiancee and their children. It is a terrible burden to bear.

Rick was a caring loving gentle guy. He was very warm and as a new neighbor made me feel very welcome to the neighborhood. He invited me over several times for a barbaque with he and his family. He was a great dad who loved his children and Kim very much. He will be missed very much. He was too young to die but God had plans other plans for him.

The thing that stood out most about Ricky was his perpetual smile. He lived life through the eyes of a child, always seeing the good in people and keeping a high spirit and positive attitude even through tough times. This world would be a better place if everyone had his zest for life. We will miss him.
