Obituary of Richard L. Rick" Dimmler

Richard L. "Rick" Dimmler, 35, of Auburn, New York died Saturday, December 6, 2003. Richard was born September 11, 1968 in Washington, DC, the son of George and Carol (Merrell) Dimmler. He was a 1986 graduate of Skaneateles High School and he attended Onondaga Communuity College. He was employed by Madison Filter in Skaneateles Falls. He was a loving son, brother and father and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Richard was preceded in death by his father, George Dimmler Jr. in 1995 and a sister, Marlene Dimmler in 1963. He is survived by his fiancee, whom he was to be married to February 2004, Kimberly LoBello of Auburn, New York; one daughter, Jennifer Dimmler of Auburn, New York; one son, Joseph Dimmler of Auburn, New York; his mother, Carol Merrell of Elbridge, New York; one sister, Nancy Collins of Onondaga Hill, New York; two brothers, Michael Dimmler of Syracuse, New York and Peter Dimmler of Daphne, Alabama; several nieces and nephews. Services: Thursday, December 11, 2003, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., Syracuse. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
