Obituary of Sylvia Jean Van Patten

Sylvia Jean Van Patten, age 86, of Syracuse, New York died Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Sylvia was born March 19, 1917 in Alexandria Bay, New York. She was a loving and caring person and she had many wonderful friends. She was also blessed with many aides and nurses that gave her much of their time. Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Janine Hoyt; three grandchildren, Marlene, Brett and Greg Hoyt; six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson Mark Hoyt and her friend and companion Arthur Banks. There will be no services or calling hours. Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. 4612 S.
