Just this morning I thought of you and how I needed to call to say hello and talk about the latest Avon catalog. Hours later I learned of your passing and remain greatly winded over the news. I will not forget the many times you generously offered to help me with one project or another right up until my last day at the Agency. I have not forgotten that every time I passed your way you told me a quick story, joke, office tidbit, or lunch cuisine recommendation to lighten my day. Typically, in our last conversation we shared our opinions on jewelry, makeup and cake! You were kind and respectful to all - in fact, the first thing I noticed about you was that you took the time to learn everyone's name and then used it. Your kindness to all was not overlooked in life and will not be overlooked death. To you and all who read this, "the worth of life depends not upon the years of its duration, but on the spirit in which it is lived" (Paul S. McElroy). Know that you & yours are in my thoughts and prayers.

it has been a pleasure getting to know linda, we as a team at the valley youth hockey organization got to know linda as the ""coaches girlfriend"", she was such a sweet woman, one that will be in my thoughts as well as my heart. we got to know her throuigh all the games we would talk her into going too. she did not like to be cold.a woman with a lot of heart that loved her animals (even joe) smile. we would see each other at green hills and rite aid and even the diner eating with her son shawn and we would talk for hours at the store or when ever we seen each other, it was always good to see her, she always had a smile for every one. the valley will be a little different without her and i would like to tell her family how special this woman really was and she truly will be missed by people that cared about her.my thoughts and heart go out to her family-sincerely valerie & ron

As I begin to think about Linda the friend that God only gave to me to have and know for 11 months and four days. I think of all the lunches that linda, Astrid and I shared together daily and all the secrets and personal conversations that brought us closer together and made us friends. Recently we added a fourth person to our little click with Jackie. The things I will remember the most about Linda during those lunches was her love for her son Shawn and the passion she had for animals. Linda also loved trying all types of different cuisine including Soul Food. It really surprised me that Linda had a taste for soul food and she loved collard greens and thanks to Sandy her last pot of greens were excellent! Linda loved cooking and she was proud of her prize cook books. In fact we had a running joke that I had a dollar and a dream and when I did hit the lottery I would hire her to be my personal chef and companion. Linda readily agreed as long as the pay was better. Recently I gave her a comic strip that read I've been working for peanuts so on my next job I'm holding out for cashews. She liked it very much, it was just one of many little laughs and quips we would share together. I will miss my friend very much and I have learned that it's the quality of the friendship that builds bonds not how long you have shared a friendship. Linda, Astrid and I had only a short time together, however, those 11 months felt like 11 years. I am forever thankful to have known her and to have had her as my work buddy and friend. My only regret was that Linda, Astrid, and I never got the chance to go to the wine tasting vineyards offered in NYS. Linda, I promise that Astrid, Jackie and I will go this summer and remember the friend who wanted to enjoy this activity with us all. I also will not for get all the things you and Astrid taught me about wines. Thank you for being my friend. Until we are together again in the sight of God I love you! Yours in Christ Sharon Walley

I saw Linda 5 days a week -- more than my friends and relatives! So she was an important part of my everyday life. We had a number of things in common and she was a "kindred spirit" for me.I will miss our greetings every morning, our chit-chats during theday, her help when I needed an extra hand, her willingness to be helpful, her caring heart, and her loving spirit. I believe thatshe is in a good place now because she was such a good person, and that she is with us even now just as our thoughts and hearts are with her.

I worked with Linda over the last year at CCA and I still can't believe that she's not going to be sitting up there at that front desk anymore. She was always kind, always warm, always helpful and understanding. Though I didn't know her well, I know we will all miss her gentle spirit at CCA. May she rest in peace.
