Dear Kerry and family,
You all have my deepest condolences for your loss of Larry. He was so young to pass at this early age. I remember his as a very friendly, nice person who was always nice to me personally. I just cannot imagine your grief. I am so sorry. Wishing you all the very best in the difficult times ahead.

Smith Family, my heartfelt sympathy and condolences regarding your loss. He was a great employee at NPG- hard-working, knowledgeable, co-operative, and dependable. And he was also a great person to share a few laughs with. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this most difficult of times.

I have so many childhood memories of us kids. Playing kickball in the park. Riding bikes to the duck pond. Playing hoops at the barn next to the McDonald's house. There are just so many memories. Every time I saw Smitty he brought sunshine to my life. I could not ask for a better friend. There is nothing he wouldn't have done for me or I for him. He will always have a place in my heart. Here's to 48 years of friendship!!!

I remember when we were younger;the games of tag we would play, begging to stay out a little longer after the street lights came on. Mitch,Larry and Mike in fierce games of cowboys and Indians. Dancing at the pow wow's at the war memorial. So many more memories of Smitty, we will miss him dearly.

I watched "Little Smitt" grow up. He always had a smile on his face. He loved life. He was the protector of all his siblings. We used to have long talks about everything under the sun. Goodbye old friend.

I always think of Smitty as the peace keeper .... never judging anyone and always accepting everyone . He would give you the shirt off his back... I am so saddened by this ... it just doesn't seem fair .. his family and loved ones still need him here . My condolences to all of his family ... even though we don't understand why God took him so young , he has a plan .. although he is not here physically , his spirit and love lives on forever in all the lives he has touched

The Smith's home was like my second home as a kid, I did a lot of growing up with this wonderful family . I'll never forget the love that was shared in that house that made Smitty the man he was, he was my great protector many times. He was a hard worker , always doing something , He was so excited about his new business and I was looking forward to helping him this summer, he always said, "family first ". He was the definition of a Family Man. My heart goes out to the family and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers . God has taken one of the best ....

Every time I see a butterfly I think of my grandmother. I hope the family finds peace in something so simple that bring a smile to their faces and makes them think of the wonderful man that smitty was. He was part of family even though I wasn't his! He was a man with a big smile and an even bigger heart just like the man that he was named after and the woman that was his mother. Xoxoxoxo just one more angel to watch over all of us!
